Harbin Transformer Co., Ltd. is a state-owned, wholly owned enterprise under Harbin Industrial Investment Group Co., Ltd. Its predecessor was the Harbin Transformer Factory, which was founded in 1955. The company is primarily engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of power transmission and transformation equipment, with its main products including 10 kV–500 kV power transformers, distribution transformers, packaged substations, and special transformers. It also provides customers with comprehensive solutions and specialized services for power transmission and transformation equipment.
The company is located in the Yingbin Central Zone of the Harbin High-Tech Industrial Development Zone, covering an area of 120,000 square meters. In 2025, its total assets reached RMB 1.762 billion, with a registered capital of RMB 245 million; it currently employs 350 full-time staff, including 72 R&D personnel, and invested RMB 53 million in R&D that year.
